Blues, Greens, Purples
Yep, it was COVID. Feeling much better now, though!
Tea I’m Drinking
I had some Irish Breakfast tea earlier today. I didn’t take a picture. Sorry. 😁
What I’m Reading
Well, I was reading Whimsical Stitches, but I returned it. I just finished reading The Four Winds, but that’s not a crafting book. In a few weeks I might start reading Circular Knitting Workshop. 🤷♀️
What’s on My Spinning Wheel
I think I’m going to call this one “November Magic,” because it’s made of the Topaz colorway (November birthstone) and the Enchanted colorway. I’m really liking it. Maybe I’ll try using this one for the lacy stole pattern, if I have enough of the fiber for it. Or for a not waaaay too much smaller version.
Oh, and here’s the mess that was on my wheel last week. Poor yarn.
What’s on My Needles
Nothing yet, but I’m thinking about making the same cowl pattern I’ve made before, but this time with Forest Magic or Emerald yarn. Wouldn’t that be lovely? Especially on anyone with green eyes?
What I’m Listing
What’s “Forest Magic,” you ask? Oh, that’s this other yarn. It’s a 4-ply, two of Enchanted, one of Emerald, and one of Meteor Shower. This background here is in Forest Magic.
Reminder to self: take more pictures of it again, in natural light.
And yes, already the book By Hand has definitely been helpful.
My Life Outside of the Felt Comfort Shop
Listening to lots of transcription practice files. And to some other things I’m tempted to practice on, so I can give friends the transcripts instead of telling them to listen to a podcast episode, when that’s not very convenient for them. (But if I practice on other stuff, I won’t get the same kind of feedback from professional transcriptionists, so meh.)
Your Turn
What are you up to? Anything cozy or crafty? Or hygge? Anything you’re excited about?
Happy Weekend!
